A July water main break in Denney Hall forced offices of academic and advising services for the Arts and Sciences to temporarily relocate to Lincoln Tower. The break occurred on the third floor and caused flooding and water damage on the first floor and in the basement, said Elisabeth Roberson of the Office of the Executive Dean of the Arts and Sciences.
“We hope to be moved back into Denney by the end of Fall Quarter,” Roberson said. She said nothing irreplaceable was damaged.
Ethan Finley, a supervisor in the academic and advising services office, said it has been a difficult situation.
Finley said the move “was inconvenient, but it was necessary.”
All offices in academic and advising services can be found in 437 Lincoln Tower. Those include administrative, academic advising, diversity services, honors and career services offices for Arts and Sciences.
