Mirror Lake arrests, bike thefts and possession of drugs

Bike Thefts

A male student reported his bicycle stolen on Nov. 28 from Arps Hall.

Ohio State Police recommend students with bicycles use two locks to prevent theft. Students can also register bicycles at Blankenship Hall for free to help return stolen items.

Possession of Drugs/Paraphernalia

A female staff member reported drug possession at Scholars House East on Nov. 23, according to University police reports.

On Nov. 22, a staff member reported deception to obtain dangerous drugs at the Veterinary Medical Academic Building in an unrelated incident.

Mirror Lake

During the jump-in at Mirror Lake on the night of Nov. 22, University police arrested three students for disorderly conduct.

One theft from the Mirror Lake area was reported to University police.

On the same evening, three male students were arrested for offenses involving underage persons, according to University police reports.

A female student was arrested during the Mirror Lake Jump for resisting arrest and assault on an officer, according to University police.
