The Ohio State Women’s Basketball team’s undefeated season ended Saturday with a 73-62 loss to rival Michigan.

The Buckeyes led, 24-23, at 4:23 in the first half,before the Wolverines took control for the remainder of the game. OSU battled back from a 19-point deficit, cutting the lead to five points at 3:29 in the second half, before Michigan pulled away for good.

Senior guard Samantha Prahalis led the Buckeyes with 17 points and four rebounds, followed by junior guard Tayler Hill with 15 points and four rebounds, while Wolverines guard Courtney Boylan led all scorers with 19 points.

The No. 8-ranked Buckeyes leave Ann Arbor, Mich., with 15-1 overall record, and 2-1 record in Big Ten play. The Wolverines improved to 13-3 with the win, and 2-1 in the Big Ten. The loss drops the Buckeyes to fourth place in Big Ten play.

The Women’s Basketball team returns to Columbus, Ohio, Thursday for a game against Northwestern. Opening tip is scheduled for 7 p.m
