Crime Brief: Missing person, burglary reported by Ohio State Police

Timothy Marcum, a non-affiliate, was reported missing from the Neuropsychological Services building located at 1620 Upham Drive, by a male staff member at 11:08 a.m. Wednesday. The missing person is being described as a white, 47-year-old male. An investigation is pending.
A female student reported a burglary at the Morrill Tower residence hall Wednesday. An estimated $375 worth of jewelry was reported stolen from the on-campus resident’s dorm room. An investigation is pending.
A female staff member reported theft from a motor vehicle and attempted theft of a motor vehicle at the 12th Avenue and Cannon Drive parking lot Sunday. An estimated $750 worth of property was reported stolen from the vehicle, a 2006, dark blue Chrysler Sebring. The driver’s side window was “smashed out” and the “ignition was peeled/damaged in what appeared to be an attempt to steal the vehicle,” according to an Ohio State Police report.
A female reported aggravated menacing at Martha Moorehouse Pavilion located at 2050 Kenny Road Monday at 5:28 p.m.
