A male graduate student, age 23, reported having a gun pointed at him by a passenger of a car driving southbound on College Road between 11th and 12th avenues Saturday at about 5:40 p.m.

The student described the vehicle as a blue Ford Focus with Pennsylvania license plates. The passenger was described as a white male wearing a hat and a white Ohio State jersey. He was holding a silver handgun. The driver of the car was also described as a white male. The passenger had a serious and mean expression while the driver was laughing, according to a University Police report.

No license plate number, suspect vehicle or further information for follow-up was able to be located and the case was closed, according to a University Police report.

A man, age 48, not affiliated with OSU was arrested for several outstanding warrants through the Columbus Division of Police after he was stopped by a University Police officer for riding his bicycle on the sidewalk Sept. 19 at 10:15 a.m. near Lane Avenue and Perry Street.

There were 32 total thefts on OSU’s campus this week from Sept. 18 to Sept. 25. Of these, 12 were thefts of bicycles.

Two arrests were made in incidents involving criminal trespassing this week.

A male non-affiliate, age 24, was arrested for criminal trespass near the Neil Avenue Building Sept. 18.

Several days later, a second male non-affiliate, age 19, was arrested for resisting arrest and criminal trespass near Hopkins Hall Tuesday shortly after 5:30 p.m.
