Junior linebacker Joshua Perry was joined by a few of his teammates outside the Woody Hayes Athletic Center on Monday afternoon to promote a cause he called “Whipping Childhood Cancer.”

Earlier in the year, Perry befriended a young boy named Joshua Chambers who has been diagnosed with leukemia.

Perry, joined by teammates junior linebacker Joe Burger, redshirt-sophomore safety Tyvis Powell, senior defensive lineman Michael Bennett, junior cornerback Armani Reeves, redshirt-freshman linebacker Darron Lee, and co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Luke Fickell, took whip-cream pies to the face in an attempt to raise awareness about childhood cancer and the fight against it.
