This Buckeye News Update brings you two stories from off-campus. The first is the fatal stabbing of 21-year-old John Austin Snyder, who passed away early Sunday morning. Snyder’s body was found on the corner of E Northwood and Summit at three a.m. on Sunday morning. He was transported to the Wexner Medical Center, however he passed away at four a.m. on Sunday.

Secondly, we bring you up to date on Campus Partners’ High Street redevelopment. The redevelopment will see new businesses put into the 15th and High street area, along with the addition of a new square and a “signature building”.

We also have a sports update, where we look at D’Angelo Russell’s game-winning performance against Purdue from Sunday night. Russell contributed 28 points to the Buckeyes’ 65-61 victory over the Boilermakers.

The men’s ice hockey team took home a couple of wins this weekend by gaining two victories in a weekend series against Penn State. This is the first back-to-back win series for the Buckeyes in the regular season.

Lastly, we conclude this show with a weather forecast and a look ahead in Lantern Media content. Stay tuned for all that, and much more.
