Fifteen Ohio State students passed away this school year but their memory lives on. The Ohio State community came together this week at a memorial service held in the Ohio Union where family and friends were able to reflect on the community’s loss.

Dom Tiberi, 10tv Sports Anchor and father of Maria Tiberi, also spoke on campus about his daughter who passed away in 2013. At an awareness program called Maria’s Message, Tiberi emphasized the importance of defensive driving and limiting distractions on the road.

This week’s episode of Buckeye News Now also brings you an update on the off-campus shooting Monday night.

In other news, the U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs visited campus this week as did another finalist for the Ohio State Marching Band Director position.

We also bring you stories on new meal plans, Greek Week, and Lantern TV Meteorologist Russell Bird tracks severe weather.
