After multiple reports surfaced on Sunday, The Lantern was able to confirm via a campaign aide on Monday that Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine are coming to Columbus after the Democratic National Convention wraps up in Philadelphia.

Clinton, who is to be officially nominated as the Democratic presidential candidate this week, and her pick for vice president, Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine, are set to visit Columbus on Sunday.

The visit is part of a bus tour set to hit Ohio and Pennsylvania, both swing states. The focus of the tour, like when Clinton visited Columbus in June, is the economy, though much of that speech focused on attacking GOP nominee Donald Trump.

The tour is to include “public rallies, smaller events focused on issues central to their campaign and local retail stops,” though specific details on the Columbus event were not disclosed.

The bus tour is set to stop in Harrisburg and Pittsburgh while in Pennsylvania, and Youngstown and Columbus for the Ohio leg.

Trump is set to be in Toledo, Ohio, on Wednesday, The Blade reported Monday.
