Wednesday afternoon, Ohio State’s chapter of College Democrats is set to host Sen. Cory Booker, a Democrat from New Jersey, and Ted Strickland, a former Ohio governor who is running against Ohio’s incumbent Republican Sen. Rob Portman.

The event is slated to take place in the Ohio Union, from 1:30-2:30 p.m.

Booker, who is not up for re-election this year, will be campaigning for Strickland, a fellow Democrat. The visit comes less than two weeks before the election.

On the same day, Chelsea Clinton is set to visit Grove City, just south of Columbus, to campaign for her mother, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Those interested in attending the Booker-Strickland event can find tickets on the event’s Facebook page.
