Ohio State reported 163 new student COVID-19 cases and the off-campus resident positivity rate for the 24-hour period of Thursday decreased from 9.5 to 6.3 percent of tested students. Over the 24-hour period of Thursday, 96 out of 2,776 Ohio State students tested were positive for COVID-19, bringing the cumulative number of cases for Aug. 14-Sept. 10 to 2,097, according to the university’s COVID-19 dashboard. The positivity rate for the 24-hour period is 3.5 percent.
