Ohio State students who misplace items of importance on campus should not end their search after retracing their footsteps. They should check the University Lost and Found.Jim Stevens, vice president of Physical Facilities, said the lost and found gets items from all over the campus.”Buildings like Larkins Hall have their own lost and found, because students go back and check,” he said.Stevens said students who come to retrieve a lost good need to give a description of the item.He said expensive items, such as jewelry and wallets are not turned in.”We get things like book bags, jackets and umbrellas, things you leave lying around,” Stevens said. “We hold items until the end of the school year, and then we turn them over to salvage or Buckeye Bargains.”The University Lost and Found is in the basement of the Central Services Building, at 2003 Milliken Road. It is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
