A man fell to his death from the eighth floor balcony of Dreese Lab at about 10:30 a.m. today.
The man did not have identification in his pants or jacket, according to university spokesman Randy Dunham. The man was transported by Columbus medics to OSU Hospitals where he later died, Dunham said.
The police have not officially determined whether he jumped or accidentally fell.
Counseling is available for those who witnessed the fall or the transportation of the deceased to the hospital. The counseling service is located on the fourth floor of the Younkin Success Center, 1640 Neil Ave. The phone number is 292-5766.
