Bush’s fourth album “Golden State” is an invigorating project with a dozen songs that encompass loud and vivacious guitar sounds with relentless vocals creating the essence of rock music.

The British quartet album is full of edgy, guitar driven, rough songs that burst and display vocalist/guitarist Gavin Rossdale’s talents on vocals. The bass line and rhythms of each song gives the album a different sound.

“Solutions” is the first song on the album with lyrics that are inspiring and hopeful. Not only is the song provocative but the instruments demand that “we need a solution.”

“Faithful” provides the listener with a tasteful explanation of love and pain. Again the instruments intertwined with the vocals make this song powerful and unforgettable.

“Hurricane’s” crunchy guitar and loud music makes the listener feel caught up in a hurricane of good music and great beats.

Rossdale’s vocals on this album are incredible. Rossdale even described the album on the band’s Web page as being a very naked record.

Silence is never golden and this album brings in the noise with good music.
