March 5: A student living in Siebert Hall reported the theft of two textbooks from his room.
The student reported the unknown burglar attempted to take his laptop computer, but it was secured to his desk with a metal cable.
Hospital employee reports bomb threat
March 10: A staff member reported to University Police that she received a threatening phone call at her office in the Ohio State Medical Center.
The staff member, who claimed she had received a bomb threat, was cited for making false alarms.
Car slides in mud, causes damage
March 5: A car had to be towed out of the grass on the south side of 12th Avenue near Postle Hall. The driver had parked head in, perpendicular to the street, to go into Postle Hall to get papers that were inside.
When the driver attempted to back out, the car began to spin in the mud, causing the car to slide down hill and turn sideways, parallel to the street. The accident caused property damage.
