Two teenagers committed seven armed robberies in the northeast Columbus area from Jan. 15 to Feb. 1.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, the robbers were a man and a woman in their late teens.

The robbers were dressed in black and wore ski masks or hooded sweatshirts to hide their identities. The man used a knife to rob young women who were walking alone near apartment complexes along Morse Road between Hamilton Road and I-270.

The teenagers usually took the women’s money and jewelry.

So far, no one has been injured as a result of the robberies.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $2,000 for information received by Wednesday, that leads to an arrest and indictment of either robber. Any information received after that could qualify for a smaller reward.

Anyone with information on the northeast robberies, or any felony, should call Crime Stoppers at 614-645-TIPS (8477).

Crime Stoppers uses a coding system that protects the names of all callers but allows for the caller to be contacted at a later date.
