ESPN announced Sunday that the live College GameDay broadcast will be returning to Ohio State for Saturday’s game against Penn State.
Chris Fowler, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and friends will be on campus to discuss the national college football landscape, as well as the clash between border-state rivals Ohio State and Penn State.
The 3:30 p.m. contest will feature a refreshed Buckeye (8-1, 4-1 Big Ten) team coming off a bye week and the Nittany Lions (6-3, 3-2), who managed a 35-21 comeback win over Northwestern on Saturday. The victory was the 400th for coach Joe Paterno.
College GameDay, which airs on ESPNU at 9 a.m. and switches to ESPN at 10 a.m., last visited Columbus on Sept. 13, 2009, for the Buckeyes’ 18-15 loss to the USC Trojans. College GameDay also broadcast from Camp Randall Stadium on Oct. 16 when the Buckeyes lost at Wisconsin, 31-18.
