A female non-affiliate was cited with disorderly conduct after a witness reported that she slapped her 2-year-old son while in the waiting area on the fourth floor of McCampbell Hall, part of theWexner Medical Center, on May 29.
The clinic’s on-duty social worker spoke with the woman who denied harming her son. Officers detected no evidence on the child or in his behavior that indicated physical abuse. After speaking with more witnesses the woman was cited with disorderly conduct, according to a University Police report.
A 17-year-old male and 18-year-old male were arrested after a male staff member reported a theft at the Recreation and Physical Activity Center, RPAC, on May 31. Stolen property included $26 in cash and a watch, according to a University Police report.
That same day, a 42-year-old man was arrested for public indecency around 10:15 a.m. near the Buckeye Village Community Center, located at 2724 Defiance Drive, after being reported by a male staff member.
Officers discovered several signs and a bike shelter located near the Wetland Research Park vandalized with graffiti on the afternoon of May 31, after responding to a report of a suspicious person in that area Monday.
There were 12 total thefts reported on Ohio State’s campus this week from May 28 to June 4.
Two incidents were thefts from automobiles located in the SafeAuto Garage, located at 15885 Westpark Street.
