Twenty thefts were reported on Ohio State’s campus this week from July 16 to July 23.
A 22-year-old female student was arrested for attempting to steal two magazines, correction tape, a stapler and a Vitamin Water fromEnarson Classroom Building on July 17 at about 1:30 p.m.
The Enarson Classroom Building houses a branch of the OSU Bookstore.
The next day, two male non-affiliates were arrested for theft of a bicycle outside of the 18th Avenue Library.
A day later, a 26-year-old male was arrested for possessing drug abuse instruments, receiving stolen property, escape, resisting arrest and obstruction of justice at Derby Hall on July 19 at 12:40 p.m.
Related stolen property belonging to three different individuals included a credit card, a United States passport and three USB flash drives along with miscellaneous clothing and other personal items.
An automobile was reported stolen from the 12th Avenue and Cannon Drive parking lot and six bicycles were reported stolen.
Two assaults were reported from buildings associated with the Wexner Medical Center this week.
A female staff member reported assault on July 20 at about 4 p.m. at the Emergency Department of the WexnerMedical Center main campus, located at 410 W. 10th Ave.
A second female staff member reported assault at Rhodes Hall, located at 450 W. 10th Ave., the following day at about 9:20 p.m.
These incidents followed an assault reported at OSU Hospital East, located at 1492 E. Broad Street, which occurred last week on July 10 at about 1 a.m.
