Behind a 10-17 shooting performance beyond the arc, 14 rebounds from D’Angelo Russell and a 30.5% shooting performance from the Terrapins, Ohio State was able to earn it’s second-straight Big Ten win over a ranked opponent on Thursday night by a final score of 80-56.
Sophomore forward Marc Loving finished with a team-high 19 points, including a perfect 5-5 performance from three-point range, while freshman forward Jae’sean Tate added 16 points of his own.
Now at 17-5 on the season, the Buckeyes will be on the road for four out of their next five games, starting with a matchup against the Purdue Boilermakers on Wednesday, Feb. 4.
