After being swept by Penn State in both of last season’s on-court clashes, Ohio State came out ready for retribution on Wednesday night and delivered with a 20-point victory. Senior Sam Thompson had a career-high 22 points on the evening to lead the Buckeyes, but it was OSU’s defense that also played a key role, as the Nittany Lions only shot 32.2% from the field.
Up next, the Buckeyes will travel to East Lansing to take on the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday, February 14.
