Former Ohio State and NFL wide receiver Terry Glenn was killed in a car accident Monday morning, according to CBS Dallas-Fort Worth. He was 43 years old.
The accident was reportedly a single-car wreck on Highway 114 in Irving, Texas. ESPN’s Adam Schefter said Glenn was pronounced dead by the Parkland Memorial Hospital at 12:52 a.m.
Glenn originally joined the Buckeyes as a walk-on. He did not play his true freshman season of 1992, but played in every season from 1993-95. He was drafted seventh overall by the New England Patriots in the 1996 draft. He spent 12 seasons in the NFL with six seasons spent on the Patriots, a season with the Green Bay Packers and five with the Dallas Cowboys before retiring in 2007.
