Ohio State released a Neighborhood Safety Notice Thursday notifying students that a female student was sexually assaulted off campus Nov. 3.
According to the notice, the student was walking with friends when an unknown man approached her, grabbed her chest and then fled.
The assault was reported to the Columbus Division of Police on the evening of Nov. 3 and occurred near the intersection of Frambes Avenue and Waldeck Avenue
The suspect was described as a 5-foot-11 white male, weighing approximately 190-200 pounds with “shaggy blond hair.”
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Columbus Police, University Police, or provide anonymous tips to the Central Ohio Crime Stoppers to help aid the investigation.
“We also would like to remind everyone about the Safe Ride program which operates from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m., seven days per week,” said Dan Hedman, an Ohio State spokesman.
