Columbus Division of Police is in search of a vehicle related to a sexual assault investigation involving a female Ohio State student. The student entered a car she thought was part of a ride-share service Saturday at 1:30 a.m., and was assaulted by its driver.
The student was picked up at West Lane Avenue and North High Street and was able to escape the vehicle, according to a Neighborhood Safety Notice released Monday. The driver is described as a thin, 6-foot-tall Asian male, between 23 and 27 years of age with black spiked hair.
The vehicle law enforcement officials are hoping to identify is a white, four-door sedan — the manufacturer was not listed. The car is missing a hubcap on the driver’s side rear wheel or has a small spare tire mounted on the vehicle, according to the safety notice.
