A robbery was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred on East 11th Avenue near North Fourth Street Jan. 15 at 12:33 p.m. According to the online police log, a woman told police that a man approached her with a kitchen knife and threatened to kill her unless she handed over her phone. She ignored his request to unlock the phone, but did hand it over. The suspect fled on foot.

A woman not affiliated with Ohio State was arrested by University Police for theft in the Scarlet Ribbon Gift Shop in the Wexner Medical Center on Wednesday at 7:25 p.m.

A motor vehicle theft was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred on East Woodruff Avenue near North High Street on Thursday between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

A burglary was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred on East Dodridge Street near Findley Avenue on Saturday between 12:30 and 5:30 a.m. According to the online log, an unknown suspect or suspects entered a residence through an unlocked back door, stole $1,360 worth of property belonging to three residents, took the keys to one resident’s car and stole the car as well.

A student was arrested by University Police for operating a vehicle while impaired on Neil Avenue near West 12th Avenue at 2:59 a.m. Saturday.

A burglary was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred on East Eighth Avenue near North Fifth Street on Sunday between 4 and 7 a.m. According to the online log, a woman told police that someone broke into her residence and stole her iPhone and three television sets.
