Three suspects are wanted for an armed robbery that occurred Friday at an off-campus residence.
Columbus Division of Police responded to a report of armed robbery at 6:42 p.m. Friday on Chittenden Avenue, according to a Neighborhood Safety Notice Ohio State’s Department of Public Safety posted Sunday afternoon.
The suspects forced entry into the residence at gunpoint and stole property from the multiple Ohio State students who lived there. No injuries were reported, and the suspects fled in an unknown direction.
All three suspects are black males in their mid 20s. The first suspect is believed to be about 6-feet tall, weighing about 200 pounds and was last seen wearing a red hoodie wrapped around his face. The second suspect also is described as 6-feet, 200 pounds, with a thin build, short hair and a full beard. The third suspect is 5-foot-10 and weighs about 150 pounds. He also has dreadlocks and was last seen wearing a gray jacket.
According to reports to the police, the second suspect displayed a handgun and the third suspect indicated he had a weapon.
