3/15, 1:39 p.m. Update: University Police sent an “all-clear” message for the campus area as police continue to investigate the area.
An armed robbery took place at Huntington Bank on the corner of 11th and Neil avenues Thursday around noon. According to a Buckeye Alert, two black females used a gun to rob the bank.
The women fled the scene southeast wearing dark athletic clothes. There are no reported injuries at this time.
The Buckeye Alert was sent to the Ohio State community via text message and through a series of tweets from the university’s emergency management account. Students, faculty and staff were asked to remain vigilant as the women could still be armed.
