After 14 years of on High Street, Ugly Tuna Saloona will be closing its doors Wednesday, according to Mitch Hooper of 1870 Magazine.
Tuesday’s Senior Crawl will be the last day for students to get to the bar to enjoy all the deals on cheap beer and wells, take pictures against the blacklight-lit walls, and break out their best moves on the dance floor.
Located on the second floor of the Gateway, Ugly Tuna has been a beloved campus bar primarily known for its fishbowls and Ugly Hour deals during the week.
Ugly Tuna’s closure means the University District is losing another well-known bar. Too’s Under High closed in the fall, and The O Patio and Pub is set to close this summer.
