After reports had surfaced that Urban Meyer might be coaching in his last season in Columbus, the Ohio State head coach shot down those rumors in Monday’s press conference.
“I plan on coaching,” Meyer said after being asked if he would return next season.
The head coach also said he would be returning to Ohio State in 2019 after he was asked whether he would be staying in that role next season.
Last week, BetOnline released odds on who would be the head coach at Ohio State next season. Meyer led the group with +125, but the list contained coaches like Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell, Ohio State offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Ryan Day and former Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops.
