The No. 48 player and the No. 10 power forward in the 2019 recruiting class, Liddell, out of Belleville, Illinois, is the No. 1 recruit in the state according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
Liddell won the Mr. Illinois Basketball award after his junior season, only the second non-senior to win the award. Last season, he averaged 20.9 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists.
Joining Carton and Gaffney, Liddell rounds out the 13th-ranked Ohio State 2019 recruiting class, ranked as the No. 1 class in the Big Ten.
