After two seasons with Ohio State, sophomore forward Kaleb Wesson is attempting to make his name in the NBA.
Ohio State head coach Chris Holtmann said on Wednesday that Wesson will enter his name in the 2019 NBA Draft, while still maintaining his NCAA eligibility.
“I fully support him in going through this process, and we’re gonna walk through it with him,” Holtmann said.
Wesson has played in 65 games over his two seasons for the Buckeyes, averaging more than 10 points and four rebounds in both seasons. In the 2018-19 season, Wesson led the team with 14.6 points per game and 6.9 rebounds per game.
Wesson will be able to return to Ohio State if he goes undrafted or withdraws his name prior to the NBA Draft.
