Jayden Ballard, a four-star wide receiver from Massillon, Ohio, announced on Twitter that he has committed to Ohio State on Friday.
The 6-foot-2, 164-pound Ballard is listed as the No. 5 prospect in the state of Ohio, and the No. 22 ranked wide receiver in the nation per 247Sports.
Ballard was recruited by head coach Ryan Day and wide receivers coach Brian Hartline, and becomes the third commit in Ohio State’s 2021 recruiting class.
Ballard competed at Ohio State’s camp this past week.
Along with Ballard, Ohio State has also received commitment from pass rusher Jack Sawyer and quarterback Kyle McCord, who are both also top 5 recruits in their state for 2021.
