Ohio State landed the first commit of its 2020 recruiting class Monday, when Eugene Brown announced his intention to sign with the Buckeyes on Twitter.
A four-star recruit, Brown is the No. 112 overall prospect in his class, and the No. 26 shooting guard, per 247Sports.
The 6-foot-6, 185-pound Georgia native is the No. 6 ranked player in his home state. Brown plays at Southwest DeKalb High School in Decatur, Georgia.
Outside of Ohio State, Brown had received offers from Georgia, Georgia Tech and Texas A&M.
Brown visited Ohio State on Sept. 13.
