An incident of harassment by inmate — to knowingly cause someone to come into contact with a bodily fluid that carries a virus — was reported to University Police as having occurred between 2:51 and 2:53 a.m. Thursday at the Ohio State University Hospital Emergency Room.

A theft from a motor vehicle was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred between 10 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 a.m. Friday on East Blake Avenue near Adams Avenue. According to the online police log, the victim parked her car in front of her house and believed she locked it. When she returned to her car in the morning, her Blessing trumpet and flugelhorn, valued at $1,500 each, were stolen from behind the passenger seat. There was no sign of forced entry.

A felony theft was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred between 9 and 11 p.m. Saturday at Out-R-Inn, near campus. According to the online police log, the victim placed a College Football Playoff championship ring valued at $15,000 on the bar table, looked away and the ring went missing.

A theft from a motor vehicle was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred between 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday on East 12th Avenue near Summit Street. According to the online police log, two handguns, valued at $200 each, were stolen from the victim’s vehicle.

A burglary was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and midnight Sunday on East 15th Avenue near North Fourth Street. According to the online police log, $3,700 of property was taken, including a TV, video game accessories and a laptop.

An assault was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred at 12:48 a.m. Sunday at Out-R-Inn. According to the online police log, the victim was thrown to the ground and beaten by two suspects. The suspects said they asked the victim to leave, and he refused, prompting them to forcibly remove him from the bar.

A felony assault was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred at 1 a.m. Sunday at Bullwinkles Night Club. According to the online police log, the reporting officer escorted the arrestee from the bar after being asked to leave by security staff repeatedly. The arrestee then assaulted the officer and was placed under arrest.

An incident of carrying concealed weapons was reported to University Police as having occurred at 1:07 a.m. Sunday near University Hall on the Oval.

A robbery was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred at 5 a.m. Sunday on King Avenue near North High Street. According to the online police log, the victim invited a homeless woman into his house to warm up from the rain. The woman then produced a small handgun, demanded the victim’s valuables and stole $1,700 worth of property, including an iPhone, assorted bills and personal documentation.

An incident of trafficking in drugs — containing marijuana other than extracted oil — improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs was reported to University Police as having occurred at 2:15 a.m. Monday on West 12th Avenue and College Road.
