Ohio State will have redshirt sophomore cornerback Shaun Wade back from injury in the Big Ten Championship Game against Wisconsin, according to the Buckeyes’ weekly status report.
Wade was listed as a game-time decision with an undisclosed injury ahead of this past Saturday’s matchup with Michigan. He warmed up with the first team in pregame drills and dressed for the game, but did not end up playing.
Michigan redshirt senior quarterback threw for 250 yards against Ohio State in the first half, which was more than any team had previously thrown in a game against the Buckeyes this season.
However, Wade and junior cornerbacks Amir Riep and Marcus Williamson are all listed as having a possibility to start on the depth chart this week, which may suggest Wade is still dealing with residual effects from his injury.
