An increase in basketball ticket prices for faculty and the public was recommended for full Board of Trustees’ approval at the Audit, Compliance and Finance Committee meeting on Thursday.

Kris Devine, vice president of operations and deputy chief financial officer for the Office of Business and Finance, said Ohio State’s  financial situation is relatively consistent with financials seen in the past and total revenue for expenses remains strong.

The committee approved a slight increase in basketball ticket prices for faculty and the public next season, pending full board approval on Thursday.

Premier game tickets will increase by $2 per game and conference game tickets will increase by $1 per game for Zones 1-6. Student tickets will remain priced at $9.

Additionally, the committee decided to continue purchasing and supplying iPads, Apple Pencils, keyboards, AppleCare and cases for students.

The committee also approved the entrance into professional services and construction contracts for major projects such as the Interdisciplinary Research Facility, Wexner Medical Center expansions, infrastructure improvements and land acquisitions.

All approved requests are pending full board approval on Thursday.
