The Center of Belonging and Social Change's Language of Food event creates new traditions for students

The Center of Belonging and Social Change held The Language of Food event Tuesday as part of United Black World Month. Participants worked together to cook dinner while talking about the influence of food in their own families and cultures.

Indra Leyva-Cook, the organizer of the event, said she hopes the event reminds students of the feeling of cooking meals at home.
