After suffering an ankle injury in the fourth quarter of the Buckeyes’ game against Penn State, senior defensive tackle Tyleik Williams is set to play in Saturday’s matchup with Purdue.
Day said Williams was “day-to-day” during his Tuesday press conference at the Woody Hayes Athletics Center. Wednesday, during his lightning round, Day updated the media that Williams was trending towards being available.
No players are listed as questionable, but the following Buckeyes will be out:
Senior tight end Will Kacmarek
Senior tight end Jace Middelton
Senior offensive lineman Zen Michalski
Sophomore cornerback Calvin Simpson-Hunt
Junior running back Timothy Caffey (out for season)
Senior offensive lineman Josh Simmons (out for season)
