Ohio State forward Aaron Bradshaw is currently absent from the men’s basketball team for unknown reasons, according to a Friday statement from Gary Petit, the director of athletic communications for men’s basketball.
The statement was given prior to the Buckeyes’ matchup against Campbell University, at which Bradshaw was not present.
“Aaron Bradshaw is not currently participating in team activities,” Petit’s statement read. “The university is following its established process. Due to federal privacy laws, we cannot share further information at this time.”
Following the team’s 104-60 win against Campbell, head coach Jake Diebler said Bradshaw is “currently going through a university process” but shared no further details.
Bradshaw started in Ohio State’s first four games of the 2024-25 season, averaging 7.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest.
Bradshaw — a 7-foot-1 sophomore — is in his first season with the Buckeyes, having transferred into the program after one season with Kentucky.
At this time, no other information about Bradshaw’s player status has been made public, and the team has not provided any additional comments.
