Ohio State’s office of Federal Work-Study and Student Employment is spending $100 to reward 10 of its thousands of student employees.

Next week is National Student Employment Week, during which employers are invited to celebrate their student employees by showing appreciation for the hard work they do, according to an Office of Student Financial Aid news release.

Each day next week, a trivia question will be posted at sfa.osu.edu/jobs. Of the student-employees that answer correctly, two will be given $10 gift cards.

OSU students who worked for the university in any capacity from summer 2009 through this spring are eligible.

As sponsor of National Student Employment Week, the Office of Student Financial Aid encourages university employers to show more personal gratitude toward their student employees.

Supervisors might express appreciation through celebration ideas found on the National Student Employment Association Web site as well as praise posted to OSU’s financial aid Web site.
