Sony Computer Entertainment has been at the center of a slew of unprecedented news for the past two weeks. Sony expressed interest in cross-platform gaming a day after Microsoft invited it to do, possibly paving the way for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One to connect. Additionally, reports have surfaced that Sony plans on manufacturing improved versions of the PS4, furthering the console’s infrastructure and strengthening its processing capabilities.
The reports of a more powerful PS4 only serve to complement the news of Sony’s virtual reality system, titled PlayStation VR, which is set to arrive on store shelves in October.
The Lantern’s Robert Scarpinito, Jac Cepeda and Ian Bailey sit down to discuss these topics and more in this week’s episode of onLAN.
