Sunset Song, 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Wexner Center for the Arts. A tragic tragic love story adapted from a classic 1932 novel by Lewis Grassic Gibbon, directed by Terence Davies. $6 for students (with valid ID), $8 general admission.
Miike Snow, 8 p.m. at Newport Music Hall, 1722 N. High St. Swedish indie-pop band Miike Snow is playing with MUNA, and afterwards Miike Snow will be hosting a DJ set at Dahlia Bar and Lounge, doors open at 9 p.m. Newport show tickets are $19.50 via Ticketmaster, after-party tickets are $15.
Best of Shadowbox 2016, 7:30 p.m. at 503 S. Front St. Opening night for the two-hour show featuring the best sketches and songs of the season. Performances run until Sept. 3. Tickets are $21 including fees for students via Vendini.

HAIM, 6:30 p.m. at EXPRESS LIVE! Indoor Pavilion, 405 Neil Ave. Band of sisters HAIM are set to play with Cameron Avery and Bibi Bourelly at EXPRESS! Live’s indoor venue. Tickets are $27.50 via Ticketmaster.
Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls, doors open at 6:30 p.m. at Newport Music Hall, 1722 N. High St. The English folk singer-songwriter is set to perform with opening acts Two Cow Garage and Homeless Gospel Choir. Tickets are $22 plus fees in advance and $25 the day of the show via Ticketmaster.
TBD The Musical, 7:30 p.m. at Backstage Bistro, 503 S. Front St. An hourlong fully improvised musical performance based on a title given by the audience and presented by Hashtag Comedy. Admission is $6 including fees via Vendini and at the door.
After Hours Radio, from 8:30 p.m. to midnight at The Tree Bar, 887 Chambers Rd. The Ann Arbor, Michigan, based band is set to perform along with local acts Sam and the Barbers, Minions of Mayhem, The Raquels and Booty & The Kidd.

Columbus Crew SC v. Real Salt Lake, 7:30 p.m. at MAPFRE Stadium, 1 Black and Gold Blvd. Tickets start at $30.75 including fees via Ticketmaster.
Other Prom, 8 -11 p.m. at the Wexner Center for the Arts. An LGBT- and ally-friendly bash for youths all around the region. Must be between ages 12-20 with a valid ID. Admission is free.
Local ‘n Live, 3-9 p.m. at the World of Beer outdoor beer garden, 1568 N. High St. This week’s concert features The Cordial Sins joined by Greg Hale Band and Aubry Liston presented by Gateway Film Center and CD102.5. Admission is free.
Columbus Asian Festival, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Franklin Park, 1755 E. Broad St. A wide array of food, performances and other cultural experiences will be offered at the 21st annual event. The festival continues on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free.
Regina’s Pick: Eagles of Death Metal, doors open at 6:30 p.m. at Newport Music Hall, 1722 N. High St. A night of head-banging rock and metal, accompanied by Thelma and the Sleaze. Tickets are $33.85 including fees via Ticketmaster.

Simon Joyner, 7 p.m. at the new location of Used Kids Records, 2500 Summit St. Joyner performs in support of his new book and 13th album with opening act Andrew Graham Swarming Branch. Suggested donation is $5.
Wednesday, June 1
Bring Me the Head of Tim Horton, June 1 through June 30 at the Wexner Center. Guy Maddin takes the audience behind the scenes of a fellow moviemaker’s new war movie. Free admission.
Ring of Fire, 11 a.m. in Studio Two of the Riffe Center, 77 S. High St. Five actor/musicians perform the music of Johnny Cash. Performances continue through June 19. Ticket prices vary according to the day, but student tickets are available for $15 with a valid student ID.
Verdi’s La Traviata, 7:30 p.m. at Southern Theatre, 21 E. Main St. A story of forbidden love sung in Italian with English subtitles, presented by Opera Columbus. Additional performances are set to take place on June 3 at 7:30 p.m. and June 5 at 2 p.m. Tickets begin at $18.75 including fees.
