Michigan State and Missouri, ranked No. 5 and No. 6 in last week’s BCS standings, respectively, suffered lopsided defeats during the weekend.

That meant several teams would move up in the rankings. Ohio State was not one of them.

Instead, the Buckeyes remain at No. 11, after Nebraska leaped from No. 14 to No. 7 and LSU moved up a pair of spots to No. 10. OSU knocked off Minnesota, 52-10 on Saturday, the Buckeyes’ second consecutive blowout victory.

The Spartans fell to No. 14. Missouri slipped to No. 12.

Oregon took over the top spot in the rankings, surpassing Auburn, who fell to No. 2. TCU and Boise State switched spots, with the Horned Frogs moving up to No. 3 and the Broncos dropping to No. 4.

Undefeated Utah rose three spots to No. 5, while one-loss Alabama moved up to No. 6.

Oklahoma and Wisconsin both jumped up a spot, to No. 8 and No. 9, respectively.

OSU has a bye week this week, and hosts Penn State on Nov. 13.
