Two female Ohio State students reported being fondled by an unknown male Tuesday on campus.
The first incident was reported to have happened on a bench outside Knowlton Hall, on West Woodruff Avenue. The student reported that a man approached her and asked to sit next to her on a bench outside the building. Shortly thereafter, the unknown male reportedly fondled her lower body, and then fled east toward Hitchcock Hall.
The incident was reported Tuesday afternoon. That evening, at about 11:30 p.m., OSU issued a Public Safety Notice to students.
The second incident reportedly occurred at about 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday at the Ohio Union. The student reported she was using her laptop on the second floor when an unknown man approached her. He asked if he could charge his phone while taking a seat behind her. The suspect reportedly then touched her lower body, and then fled after the student confronted him.
The second incident was reported at about 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday. OSU issued a Public Safety Notice that afternoon, after 6 p.m.
The suspect in both incidents is described as a black male, approximately 40 years old, with a goatee.
The Knowlton Hall suspect is further described as having a light complexion. He was reported to have been wearing large-framed black sunglasses, blue- or dark-colored athletic style-shoes, black pants and an orange T-shirt at the time.
The Ohio Union suspect is further described as being between 6 feet and 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighing up to 200 pounds. He was reported to have been wearing black and red high-top shoes.
