An assault was reported to the Columbus Division of Police as having occurred on Nov. 6 at 7:08 a.m. at the United Dairy Farmers located on North High Street near Frambes Avenue. According to the online police log, a man who had previously been banned from entering the store came in and was approached by an employee. The man punched the employee in the face, bloodying his nose, and then punched another man in the face multiple times before leaving the store.
A burglary was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred on North Street near Neil Avenue on Nov. 7 between 6:45 and 8:45 a.m. According to the online police log, an unknown suspect entered a residence through an unlocked back door and stole $602 worth of property, including electronics such as a Playstation and food items such as Reese’s cups and bagels.
An assault was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred on North Fourth Street near East Norwich Avenue Wednesday at 2:30 a.m. According to the online police log, three women were walking down the sidewalk when a suspect ran up to them and hit two of them with an open hand and shoved two of them to the ground. One of the women used pepper spray on the suspect, causing the suspect to flee.
A male Ohio State student was arrested by University Police on Woody Hayes Drive Thursday at 10:04 a.m. for failure to comply with the order of a police officer.
A male Ohio State student was arrested by University Police in Ohio Stadium at 1:15 p.m. Saturday during the Ohio State-Michigan State football game for possession of drugs.
An assault was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred on North High Street near East 14th Avenue Sunday at 12:19 a.m. According to the online log, a witness observed two men arguing with a male suspect. After the two men walked away together, the suspect ran after them and hit both in the face, causing one man to drop to the ground, bleeding.
