An incident of arson was reported to the Columbus Division of Police as having occurred on East 15th Avenue near Indianola Avenue on Jan. 23 between 12 and 6 a.m. According to the online police log, unknown suspects set fire to construction equipment behind the Delta Gamma Fraternity house, damaging a forklift, window and electrical wiring.

A man not affiliated with Ohio State was arrested by University Police for possession of drugs in the Ohio Union South Garage on Saturday at 1:29 a.m.

A motor vehicle theft reportedly occurred at a residence on East Norwich Avenue near Waldeck Avenue between 9 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 a.m. Sunday. The automobile’s owner told The Lantern he noticed the vehicle’s keys were missing when he was getting ready to leave to pick up pizza after hosting a party. He then went outside to find the vehicle missing and said he believes it was stolen by someone who attended the party.

An assault was reported to Columbus Police as having occurred on North High Street between East Lane and East Woodruff avenues on Sunday at 1:40 a.m. According to the online log, a man told police he was assaulted by two suspects. He was taken to the Wexner Medical Center for a finger injury and abrasions to his head.
