On a sunny day in Columbus, 12 jury members went on a bleak tour of the city in a charter bus, stopping at different areas that together made up the February night more than a year earlier when Reagan Tokes was murdered.
The jurors, prosecutors, defense attorneys and media went from one stop to the next, recounting where Reagan left work at Bodega Cafe in the Short North, going to the scene where Brian Golsby, a previously convicted felon, is said to have attacked her at gunpoint, banks where he made her withdraw money, and ended at Scioto Grove Metro Park where her body was found.
The jury was brought to the scenes as part of the Tokes murder trial in which Golsby is facing the death penalty along with 10 total counts, including aggravated murder and robbery, kidnapping and rape.
Jury members took notes at the scenes as attorneys talked about each location, according to the Columbus Dispatch.
The trial will continue throughout this week and next.
