Call of Duty World Championship, 12 p.m. at Nationwide Arena, 200 W. Nationwide Blvd. The 2018 Call of Duty World League Championship will be the largest tournament of the Call of Duty competitive season featuring $4.2 million in total prizing. Columbus Food Truck Festival, 11 a.m. at Bicentennial Park & Scioto Mile, Civic Center Dr. Taking place this Friday and Saturday, the popular food truck festival returns for its eighth straight year. There will be over 40 food vendors including Big Bamboo, Meatball Mafia, The Cheese Melt and Paddy Wagon, just to name a few. There will also be 2 stages of live music this year featuring acts like Angela Perley & Howlin Moons and The Deeptones. Admission for the entire weekend is free for all.

Saturday, Aug. 18

Columbus Duck Race, 11 a.m. at Genoa Park, 303 W. Broad St. Nationwide Children’s Hospital is sending 20,000 rubber duck “racers” down the Scioto River this week for their seventh annual duck race. Participants can purchase a racer duck and prizes are awarded to the top 3 finishers. Partnering with the Columbus Food Truck Festival, all proceeds benefit The Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, which is focused on discovering improved treatment for serious childhood illnesses. Free Movie Night: Toy Story, 6 p.m. at Columbus Commons, 160 S. High St. As part of their free movie night series, the Columbus Commons will be hosting a free screening of children’s classic, “Toy Story.” There will also be free bounce houses, slides, face painting, carousel rides and more fun for the whole family.
