An aggravated robbery occurred off campus Saturday afternoon near East Norwich Avenue.
The victim, not affiliated with Ohio State, was walking in the back alley of 135 E. Norwich Ave. when a silver minivan came from behind, according to an Ohio State Neighborhood Safety Notice. The passenger, described as wearing a ski mask with dreadlocks, exited the minivan and forced the victim to enter the vehicle at gunpoint, where he then pistol whipped him and took his property.
The suspect released the victim in an alley near the intersection of East Long Street and Champion Avenue, according to the notice. The driver of the vehicle was described as having cream-colored dreadlocks.
