Letters to the editor

Letters to the editor must address a topic or article that appeared in The Lantern and be fewer than 300 words. Letters submitted to The Lantern may not have been published by any other media. Pieces must include the author’s full name as anonymous pieces will not be considered. Affiliation with the university, financial interests and any group association to the piece’s subject should also be disclosed. The Lantern cannot promise every letter will be published. Our team will read submissions as quickly as possible and respond if we are interested in publishing the piece. We reserve the right to edit letters for brevity, clarity or accuracy, but any changes will be approved by the author prior to publication. Please submit letters to the editor to [email protected] as a .pdf or .docx with a phone number attached.
